Meet Zingerman's Coffee Co.'s New Managing Partner

Steve Mangigian was recently named the new co-managing partner of Zingerman’s Coffee Company, joining founding partner and roastmaster Allen Leibowitz to run the 5 year old wholesale coffee business. Steve’s career at Zingerman’s began in 2006 when he came on board in an effort to expand the coffee company’s wholesale presence and help establish the company as one of the premier coffee roasters in the country.

Since Steve joined Zingerman’s Coffee Company, wholesale sales have increased 120% .  Steve is also involved in industry-related national coffee events and has developed strong relationships both within the industry and with wholesale customers alike.

Along with extensive sales experience at both the retail and wholesale levels, Steve brings a high level of integrity, enthusiasm and passion to his new position. He previously worked as a product manager, with sales responsibility for the creation, training, and maintenance of a national dealer network for a manufacturer of commercial photographic darkroom equipment.  Most recently, he held the position of Director of Operations for a locally owned retail electronics/appliance company. There, he oversaw the sales execution strategy as well as tended to daily business operations. Steve holds a BA in Management and Organizational Development in addition to a Master’s of Business Administration. He is a long time Ann Arbor resident where he lives with his wife and three kids.
