Rwanda A+ Gatare Station Bourbon

This lovely East African coffee was immediately a stand out on the cupping table.

Our first cupping notes were “white grapefruit!  juicy, creamy, orange zest”. On cooling, the coffee had a complex fruit finish with notes of peach.  The big bright fruit flavors are perfectly balanced by the equally rich and creamy body.   It’s a great example of the unique character of East African coffees.

This coffee is grown at 1,845 meters in the Nyamashake District of western Rwanda.
