French Roast refers to a dark roasting style that is surprisingly difficult to do well. We carefully choose Central American coffees that are able to handle a higher heat yet retain their character. We start with coffees that have a robust natural acidity so that the end result has some fruitiness and a little bit of that punch found in some fine dark chocolates.
