Ethiopian Aricha
This coffee was processed at the Aricha washing station, located in the beautiful Yirgacheffe highlands of southern Ethiopia. Approximately 700 small holder farmers contribute their coffee to this station. We feel fortunate to have found this coffee. It has a flavor profile that we particularly like from Ethiopian and stood out in an otherwise rough year. This crop is clear and on-point for our taste with a distinctive fruitiness and no “muddy” notes.
It has flavors of ripe strawberry and blueberry syrup, sweet and balanced with a bit of tangy acidity It is complex, clean with a light body. This is our favorite coffee to brew in a syphon pot and is also excellent in the Aeropress and as a Press Pot.
